Overview:

The PLX device editor SDK is a highly customized software package containing powerful tools to help customers get to market faster when designing with PLX ExpressLane PCI Express switches, bridges and legacy FastLane PCI devices. The SDK application (PEX Device Editor) offers an easy to use interface with unique features like performance monitoring and a debug tool suite. This SDK is a key part of the PLX Rapid Development Kit (RDK) which includes both hardware and software.

The Oxide serial bridge connectivity SDK has changed the dynamics of device customization. Oxide enables engineers to customize PLX's Oxford serial bridge devices in minutes. No more complex, time consuming, error prone manual editing of programming files and driver source code. Oxide's intuitive graphical user interface provides simple "point-and-click" feature selection and text box entry for fast, error free customization without having to resort to source code editing.
