Dual-Port 10GBase-T PHY (65nm Tri-speed, XFI/XAUI)
TN2022 IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NEW DESIGNS. FOR DUAL-PORT, PLEASE USE THE TN8022.
The TN2022 is an integrated dual-port, triple-speed 10 Gigabit Copper PHY. With XFI, XAUI, and SGMII switch-interface support, auto-negotiated triple-speed line support, and integrated dual-ports, the TN2022 is ideal for multiple applications: Dense 24- and 48-port switches for data centers, 10G switch uplinks, and 10GBase-T NIC/Adapter cards for servers.

- Second generation 10GBASE-T PHY ideal for high density applications
- Dual-port single-chip form factor for easy design-in and maximum cost optimization
- Full 802.3an standard compliance to allow use of powerful, new 10GBASE-T technology from the data center to the network's edge. Supports up to:
- 100m on CAT6A and CAT7 cable types
- 55m on CAT6 cable, already deployed in many data centers
- 45m on CAT5e, the most commonly installed UTP cable type
- Multi-rate support (100M/1G/10GBASE-T) decouples simultaneous upgrade of both ends of a link providing flexibility in existing installations and accelerating the adoption of new equipment
- Full XAUI Interface support
- Built-in diagnostics helps data center operators to localize the cabling problems, minimizing the link downtime
- XFI Interface for enhanced design flexibility
